Hundreds of Neurodiverse Athletes. Two Decades. One Method.
I walked into my high school weight room knowing only that I wanted to make a change. Since then, strength and fitness have been a cornerstone of my personal and professional life.
Early into my career as a personal trainer, while attending graduate classes in behavior science, I had an opportunity to work with the ASD population. Seeking a best practices approach for fitness programming with neurodiverse individuals I found…practically nothing. And nothing practical. So it became my mission, and the start of Autism Fitness.
I created the PAC Profile out of necessity. Only through assessing physical, adaptive, and cognitive skills can we develop truly meaningful, effective fitness and adapted PE programs.
Fitness is a life skill. When we prioritize exercise, we can build skills that enhance independence and quality of life.
